Aimee
DIRECTOR/DANCE EDUCATOR
Aimee has trained extensively in classical ballet, modern jazz, tap, contemporary and musical theatre.
She has been teaching for many years in Tauranga, Mount Maunganui, Waihi, and Thames, has worked as a professional choreographer, and is also an internationally qualified Total Barre instructor.
She was offered a scholarship to dance full time in Melbourne but turned the offer down in favour of teaching and teacher training, this is her passion and she wants to pass on her love of dance and the arts to anyone she can!
Aimee has been a part of musicals, stage performances, and corporate events. She is often involved in community arts, especially if it involves children and youth. She has choreographed two youth musicals for Tauranga Musical Theatre and is always willing to help with community dance and arts programs or events.
Aimee loves to help the students in all areas of their lives, especially as they get older and are looking into career choices. She is a life coach (for kids and teens) and also has a diploma in child and adolescent psychology that is helpful in many ways when working with lots of different personalities!

Hayley
STUDIO MANAGER
Hayley has been working with Precision and Rise since 2023 but has been helping out for many years prior with Precision.
Hayley’s daughters have been dancing with Precision coming up 10 years and have watched Precision grow from a small studio at Greenpark School to the 7 studios we have now.
Before working with us, she was a full time Mum to her 4 children.
Hayley’s working background is in finance after spending 15 years at a bank doing everything from mortgages to being a teller.

Emma
DANCE EDUCATOR
Emma is very excited to build on her teaching journey with Precision Dance. She first started dance at the age of 2 and fell in love with the performance aspect, and especially the costumes. Emma took a break from dance for a few years due to moving across town and struggling to find a good studio to join. She believes she is lucky to have found Precision Dance, and has absolutely loved dancing there and being part of the family ever since.
Over the years Emma became one of Precision’s regular ‘fill in’ teachers and her confidence grew, she loved engaging with the younger dancers and sharing her love of dance, so when a regular teaching job came up she jumped at the chance!

Isla
DANCE EDUCATOR
Isla has trained extensively in ballet, jazz, tap, and contemporary and has her solo seal qualification with BBO. She has a very high standard of work and has done exceptionally well in all exams because of this.
Isla has worked alongside us for many years now and absolutely loves being part of the team at Precision Dance. She loves teaching the ATOD ballet syllabus to our students and we are very lucky to have her fun personality in the studios!

Jen
DANCE EDUCATOR
Jen is very excited to be continuing on her teaching journey here at Precision Dance again this year. She has been dancing since she was 3 years old and has first hand experience of the many benefits of dancing - rhythm, timing, discipline, building friendships, fitness… too may to mention!
Jen’s favourite style of dance is tap and she can’t wait to share this passion with the future generation of tappers! She believes Precision is the perfect place to do this, with a family feel focused on love, laughter, and fun.
Jen is also a qualified early childhood teacher by day and manages an awesome early childhood centre.

Ruby
DANCE EDUCATOR
Ruby began dancing at the age of 11 and has been passionate about dance ever since!
She started competitively dancing at 12, in contemporary, jazz, lyrical and musical theatre. Dancing competitively has taken her all around New Zealand. Ruby danced with Precision Dance for several years which lead into teaching for us.
She has loved passing on her passion for dance since she began teaching. In her classes, she strives to create a warm environment that builds students confidence and develops student and teacher bonds. She finds enjoyment in choreographing and watching students achieve their goals.
Ruby is studying a Bachelor of Primary Teaching. She is excited to bring knowledge from her degree into her classes!

Hannah
DANCE EDUCATOR
Hannah was born and raised in sunny Mount Maunganui. She began competitive gymnastics at age 4 at IGA, and earnt certification within a private training facility. By age 9 she gained the following; The Gymnastic Academy Step 2, 3, and 4 awards. At 7, she discovered a passion for performing arts, Hannah began at Rise Dance Company in recreational hip hop. She later transitioned to competitive dance, exploring genres like Jazz, Contemporary, Ballet, Commercial Heels, Acro, and Lyrical. Hannah was a competitive dancer in Hip hop, Jazz and contemporary and has achieved her APDA (Asia Pacific Dance Association) Level 7 Contemporary exam and ATOD (Australian Teachers Of Dancing) Gold Medal Jazz exam.
Hannah is excited to teach and share her passion with the students at Precision Dance, fostering a warm, supportive, and inclusive environment.

Chloe
DANCE EDUCATOR
Chloe began dancing at a young age and quickly fell in love with the life of competing across New Zealand as a soloist and in troupes.
She went on to earn a Bachelor of Applied Arts majoring in Commercial Dance, which opened the door to exciting performance opportunities. Chloe was performing internationally, landing dance contracts in Greece, Spain, and India when COVID cut her time short, she then pivoted and completed a Bachelor of Business majoring in Marketing, leading her to start her own social media management company.
Teaching dance has always held a special place in Chloe’s heart. She loves creating a supportive and uplifting environment where students can build confidence, express themselves, and grow as dancers. Chloe is excited to bring her performance and business knowledge together, inspiring the next generation of dancers both in and out of the studio.
She’s also expecting her first little one in August, but plans to return soon after to help bring the end-of-year show to life, a part of the year she loves most!

Tylah
DANCE EDUCATOR
Tylah is a passionate and dedicated hip hop teacher with 7 years of dance experience. She began her dance journey in high school, growing up in a community where opportunities to train were limited. Through determination and commitment, she worked her way up from student to choreographer and dance captain, demonstrating both leadership and creative excellence. Her drive to create and perform has seen her win at national hip hop competitions with her own choreography.
With experience in both duo to troupe performances, Tylah brings versatility, team work, and stage presence to her teaching. She believes strongly in the power of perseverance and encourages her students to “try again”, fostering resilience and confidence in every dancer she works with. Her teaching style focuses on not only technique and performance quality but also in personal growth, self-expression, and building a strong work ethic.
Alongside her dance career, Tylah is a full-time student at the University of Waikato, balancing her studies with her love of teaching and performing. Tylah is excited to be a part of the Precision Dance team and is passionate about making a positive impact on young dancers, helping shape their confidence and perception of dance in a supportive and inspiring environment.

Maisie
DANCE EDUCATOR
Maisie is a dedicated dance teacher with 11 years of experience as a dancer with Precision Dance.
Over the past four years, Maisie had the opportunity to grow as an assistant teacher, supporting classes and developing a strong foundation in dance education. She officially began teaching with Precision Dance last year, bringing her passion, experience, and love for movement into the classroom.
Maisie is committed to helping dancers build confidence, technique, and a genuine appreciation for dance in a supportive and inspiring environment.

Alyssa
DANCE EDUCATOR
With over 20 years of dance experience, Alyssa brings both passion and professionalism to every class. Falling in love with teaching at a young age, she discovered how rewarding it is to inspire and guide children through movement, confidence, and creativity.
After completing her full dance education, Alyssa went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Business, launch her own social media management company, and gain her real estate license - working within one of Tauranga’s most prominent real estate agencies.
Her diverse background, paired with her lifelong dedication to dance, allows her to connect with students in a meaningful, encouraging, and dynamic way. Alyssa is committed to helping young dancers grow not only in skill, but in self-belief.

Liv
DANCE EDUCATOR ASSISTANT
Liv has been dancing with Precision Dance since she was 9.
Throughout the years she has studied ballet, contemporary, jazz, and acro. Her favourite style of dance is contemporary. In the last few years Liv has done competitive dancing with a troupe and recently she went to LA with Precision Dance where she danced at Disneyland, Universal Studio and the Hard Rock Cafe on Hollywood Boulevard. Liv also loved gaining dance skills & experience from world famous choreographers.
Liv is excited to start teaching as she wants to share something she’s passionate about while helping the young kids grow confidence. Seeing the students express themselves and enjoying moving with the music is rewarding.
